Imbuing Headbands
Lotus Sensei, Lotus Dojo — Tagor Village
The Lotus Sensei keeps the Lotus Dojo in Tagor Village, and will imbue a Monk's headband with part of their spark. An imbued headband keeps the stats of the plain one and adds increased stats, at the price of five more insight to wear it.
Before he will speak to you
- You must be a Monk.
- You must be at least insight 11.
- You must have joined the Mileth Dojo — speak to the Sensei there and take the First Kyu trial. The Lotus Sensei only serves those who trained at his sister dojo.
What each imbue costs
Every imbue takes three things: the plain headband, one monster item, and experience. The headband and the item must both be loose in your inventory — an equipped headband will not be seen, so unequip it first.
| Headband | Item Required | Experience | Wears At | Armor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| White Headband | Bat Fangs | 2,500 | 6 | AC −1 |
| Green Headband | Crab's Claw | 2,500 | 16 | AC −2 |
| Blue Headband | Mimic's Fang | 5,000 | 26 | AC −2 |
| Yellow Headband | Kardi Fur | 10,000 | 36 | AC −2 |
| Purple Headband | Shrieker Mushroom | 10,000 | 46 | AC −3 |
| Brown Headband | Lotus Blossom | 15,000 | 56 | AC −3 |
| Red Headband | Faerie Wing | 25,000 | 66 | AC −3 |
| Black Headband | Gremlin's Fin | 50,000 | 76 | AC −4 |
The experience is deducted from your total and added back onto what you need for your next insight, so an imbue can cost you a level — below insight 99 you will have to earn it again. “Wears At” is the insight the imbued headband requires; the plain headband it replaces is wearable five insight earlier.
Where the items drop
| Item | Found In |
|---|---|
| Bat Fangs | Mileth Crypt |
| Crab's Claw | Piet Sewer |
| Mimic's Fang | Mileth Crypt |
| Kardi Fur | Mileth Crypt |
| Shrieker Mushroom | East Woodlands |
| Lotus Blossom | East Woodlands, Piet Sewer |
| Faerie Wing | East Woodlands |
| Gremlin's Fin | Piet Sewer |
Tip: These are the same items the Mileth Sensei asks for on the kyu ladder, shifted by one rung.
Imbued Martial Sandals
A Monk who has earned the Eighth Kyu can also have the Lotus Sensei imbue their Martial Sandals. That imbue costs no experience, but asks for five each of Winglet, Fungal Spores, Silver Root and Sacred Fruit — all harvested from the creatures of Aosdan Mountain — along with the sandals themselves.
