The Story

The changes came almost overnight, with scholars across Temuair noting an increase in dubhaimid activity across the land. The animals grew restless, and whispers began to circulate among the followers of Luathas that all hell was about to break loose.

As unfathomable as it seemed at first - a rapid decline in Aislings awakening to Deoch's spark of conscious life, and a sharp increase in the appearance of so-called "Dark Aislings" caused such a stir that even the least aware mundane began to suspect what most of us already knew - Chadul had begun to free himself from the bindings in which he found himself more than a hundred cycles prior; bindings placed there as a result of Her sacrifice.

Armies began marching to the depths of Chadul's Domain at King Theodore's behest, led by only the most zealous and powerful Aislings, in hopes of stemming the tide of darkness. While the initial march was successful, the tide quickly changed when one of the King's most trusted warriors met their untimely end at the hands of one of Chadul's champions.

While death was not usually the end for those who had awoken to Deoch's spark, this time was very different. The Aisling's body quickly turned to stone, and it seemed as though their very spark had been extinguished, and their reincarnation was no longer possible.

This was the beginning of the end, as more and more Aislings ventured deep within His domain, only to find themselves petrified, and unable to be revived by any known remedy.

It wasn't long until the very gods themselves awoke from their long slumber and, using the last of their power, restored Danaan to Her physical body in hopes that she would be the light that would counteract His darkness.

With time quickly running out, the last remaining faction of Aislings gathers in what can only be called the Final Bastion, in hopes of averting a calamity of untold proportions.

Will you be heed the call and prevent the Age of Chaos?
