A Light in the Dark

The Sigil of Shadow has been stolen out of Sgrios' own hall by an aisling who fled through time to keep it. Run the thief down, and the Avatar will part with the spell that teaches Midnight Veil.

Walkthrough

1. Ask the Avatar of Sgrios what became of his Sigil.

2. Ask Kaieve whether he has seen the thief.

3. Ask Sorine about the village's recent guests.

4. Ask the Avatar of Fiosachd where a thief would run to.

5. Corner the assassin on the mountainside.

   ⌖ Search Aosdan Mountain. No more than 2 aislings may enter the maze
6. Follow the assassin through the maze to his hoard.

   ⌖ He has left something waiting for you there
7. Choose one:
   • Take the Sigil the thief offers, and let him live.

     ⌖ The assassin, beaten, in his hoard

     You receive Sigil of Shadows, 75,000 gold
   • Hold to your contract, and end the thief where he lies.

8. Cut the Sigil from the Shadow Thief's body.

   ⌖ He fights far better than he begged. More than 2 aislings and the Sigil is lost

   You receive Sigil of Shadows
9. Return the Sigil to Sgrios, and tell him the thief lives.

10. Return the Sigil to Sgrios, and give him the thief's soul.
