Royal Betrayal

Level 71+ (Main Storyline)

This is part of the Storyline quests and is mandatory to complete. Once you hit insight 71, you can visit Devlin in Mileth (White Magic Master) to begin this quest.

She mentions things haven't been quite right with the Queen since your encounter with her in the grove.

Items Needed

  • 1 Reagent
  • 1 Brandy
  • 1 Wine
  • 3 Hemloch Deum
  • 1 Luna Rod

Walkthrough

  1. Speak to Devlin (White Magic Master in Mileth).
  2. Speak to Marlin (Loures Jail) who talks about an ancient tribe.
  3. Speak to Matei (Tagor Alchemist).
  4. Collect items: Reagent (1), Brandy (1), Wine (1), Hemloch Deum (3), and a Luna Rod for the Mysterious Draught.
  5. Speak to Appie (Piet Alchemist) to receive the Mysterious Draught.
  6. Return to Matei (Tagor Alchemist).
  7. Go speak to Marlin (Loures Jail).

Warning: If you use your potion without speaking to Marlin, go back to Appie!

  1. Head to Mehadi and walk to the deepest area. Enter to the left to the summoning area.

Danger: Do NOT step onto the pentagram if you haven't drunk your potion — you'll likely die!

  1. Ready yourselves, spell up, prepare, and drink your potion. Then step onto the pentagram area and kill the mob summoned.
  2. Once the mob is dead, you'll be ported to another area. Kill the skeletons first, then kill the bigger boss.

    Boss Tactics: Don't poison, suain, or pramh the boss. Use BLINDS/LUASGADH only!

  3. After killing the boss, you'll receive a Ritual Codex.
  4. Speak to Marlin (Loures Jail) and receive a Letter of Recommendation.
  5. Take the Letter to Jean (next to Loures Library).
